Academic Editing Services

Aussie Thesis Help offers academic editing services primarily for Australian thesis style documents. Services include but are not limited to, an initial free review of document to provide costing advice and categorise the thesis into proofreading, copyediting, and technical copyediting services required. The client can also choose the service they wish.

When should I get my thesis edited?

It is up to you when you get your thesis edited. My advice would be to get it edited either when:

  1. You think it’s almost ready to submit
  2. If you have had some significant constructive feedback from peers and supervisors, then generally proofreading will suffice in this situation.

    OR

  3. When you are stuck and can’t seem to progress, or you have had limited feedback
  4. If you have only had limited feedback or are stuck, then the copyediting service may help you to progress. The copyediting service includes suggestions and examples to improve clarity of argument and flow between thesis chapters, and the examiners perspective feedback may offer you some ideas about where there are gaps in your content, or sections that are difficult for the reader to understand. It may also renew your perspective on the role of the thesis in the higher degree by research experience and provide some direction to help you get back on track. You don’t have to submit a ‘finished’ thesis – any suggestions provided by Aussie Thesis Help will help you to improve your thesis style for the rest of your thesis journey.
